Arielle Houlihan
Arielle Houlihan is the co-Director of Bay to Bay Volleyball Club and took over the club in 2013.
She has over seen the growth of the club from 9 teams to over 21 teams and national recognition.
- Has coached ten Bay to Bay teams to a top-5 finish at Junior Nationals
- Led Bay to Bay 18-1 to a Bronze finish at AAU National Championship in 2025
- Led Bay to Bay 17-1 to a 17-Open AAU National Championship in 2024

Matt Houlihan
Matt Houlihan played for Bay to Bay since he was 12 years old and his older brother Brian was on the very first Bay to Bay team back in 2000.
Matt studied Sport Management and Business at University of the Pacific and took over Bay to Bay upon graduating college. He has helped oversee the growth of the club and its offerings.
- Spent 9 seasons as the Volunteer Assistant Coach for Stanford Men's Volleyball
- Has guided 16 teams to a top-5 finish or better at Junior Nationals (2 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals, 5 Bronze Medals)
- Won a Silver medal at the 2024 AAU National Championship with Bay to Bay 15-1
- Won a Bronze medal at the 2023 AAU National Championships with Bay to Bay 18-1's
- Won a Silver medal at the 2022 AAU National Championships with Bay to Bay 18-1's
- Won two Bronze medals at the 2021 BJNC serving as the Head Coach of Bay to Bay 14-1's and as an Assistant for the 16-1's.
- Won a Gold and Bronze medal at the 2019 BJNC serving as the Head Coach of Bay to Bay 13-1's (Bronze) and 12-1's (Gold)

Mason Tufuga
Mason Tufuga serves as the Assistant Club Director for Bay to Bay and oversees the following programs:
- Local Training Groups
- Small Group Sessions
- Travel Team Skills Practices
- Summer Camps
Mason is also the head coach of the 18-1's team and assists the 16-1's.
Kyle Chamberlain
Kyle serves as the Director of Operations at Bay to Bay. He oversees the planning and logistics of all major Bay to Bay events: tryouts, Grass Man, and uniform distribution.
Kyle also serves as one of the primary coaches at travel team skills practices and is the lead administrator of our Summer Camp programming.
Kyle also serves as the assistant coach of our 15-1's team.
Marty Ross
Marty Ross joins the Bay to Bay staff as a lead coach for the 2025-26 season. Marty is no stranger to Northern California, having attended the University of the Pacific with Matt & Arielle Houlihan. Marty oversees the following programs:

- Middle Blocker Small Groups
- Travel Team Skills Practices
- Summer Camps
Marty finished his collegiate volleyball career at UC Irvine where he also served as a volunteer assistant coach while also coaching for Balboa Bay Volleyball Club (we don't hold that against him).
Marty is the head coach of the 16-Club team and assists the 18-1's team.
Matt Frankenstein
Besides having the coolest name ever, Matt Frankenstein is also the longest tenured Bay to Bay coach.
Coach Frank is the head coach of the 14-1's team and oversees our middle school teams.
Daniel Rasay
Daniel Rasay serves as the Director of Human Performance (and snacks!) for Bay to Bay.
Daniel played collegiate volleyball at University of Hawaii where he won a national championship. He then went on to coach at Stanford University for over a decade where he won another national title in 2010.
After finishing his collegiate coaching career to spend more time with his family (wife Ann, and two sons Eli, and Kellen) Daniel started his own consulting business: Rasay Performance Coaching where he provides youth athletes opportunities to grow their self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and communication skills that result in a fulfilling journey toward peak performance.
